This page explains how COLLÆCT uses cookies and similar browser storage, and lets you update optional analytics preferences.

Google and Apple sign-in cookies are created only when you start that sign-in or account connection. They protect the response from the provider and do not enable optional analytics.
3. Local Storage
The app also stores small preferences in your browser, including recent searches, selected dashboard views, and your cookie preference. If optional cookies are accepted, browser storage also holds a random browser identifier and a visit record shared between tabs. Each loaded page has a separate identifier kept in memory. A new visit begins after 30 minutes without qualifying activity. Optional identifiers are cleared when you withdraw consent; other stored preferences can be cleared through your browser settings.
4. Optional Analytics
Analytics are used only after you accept cookies. They help us understand landing pages, referral hosts and campaigns, pages visited, estimated active time, approximate region, language, device category, and performance. A visit's last observed page and time are estimates, rather than proof that a tab was closed. If you reject optional cookies, collection stops and unsent events and optional identifiers are cleared.
Active time counts only while the tab is visible and recently used. We do not record typed keys, pointer positions, session replays, raw search text or private account contents. Detailed first-party analytics are kept for 13 calendar months, with daily maintenance. Coarse monthly statistics without account, browser or visit identifiers can be kept longer for historical comparisons; small groups are excluded. Declining does not remove requests already sent or automatically erase past records.
