The standard ETB’s recorded Trend price went from €83.87 to €124.77, a 48.77% increase. The Booster Box moved from €217.34 to €243.95, up 12.24%. Both use the same start date, end date, currency and price series.
There is more to the story than the final price
The indexed view puts both products at 100 on the first day, making their relative changes easier to compare. A reading of 120 means a 20% increase from that product’s starting price; it does not mean €120. Switch to the price view to compare the recorded amounts.
On 27 December, both products were below their September starting prices. By 27 March, the ETB was above its starting figure while the Booster Box was still below its own. These selected observations show why the dates you choose matter.
The chart includes 366 recorded daily values for each product, covering the full window. Those records do not necessarily represent 366 separate updates from Cardmarket. The ETB finished this window with the larger percentage increase and the larger euro increase for one unit. A different starting date could produce a different comparison.
Make sure you are comparing the right boxes
This article compares the Surging Sparks Booster Box with the standard Elite Trainer Box. The separately listed 18-booster box, multi-box cases and Pokémon Center ETB are outside this comparison.

Pokémon’s official description lists nine booster packs and a Magneton promo among the standard ETB’s contents. Its accessories and presentation make it a different bundle from a booster box. Dividing the sealed price by pack count alone leaves some of that product out of the picture.
Check the exact item when comparing a purchase with the chart. The source figures do not provide a separate valuation for every language, country or box condition.
Explore the history yourself
Open either product, select Trend, and add the other product using the chart’s comparison control. Check the dates for both: the primary product sets the requested window, while a product with less available history can start later.
The article preserves the observations retrieved on 27 September 2026. Its chart and downloadable data stay fixed, while the product histories move forward as new observations arrive.
How we calculated it
We retrieved each product’s public 1-year history on 27 September 2026 and used the inclusive interval from 27 September 2025 to 27 September 2026. Both histories contained a positive recorded Trend value for every date.
The daily records reflect whichever official guide Cardmarket served when COLLÆCT collected it. Even after retry checks, the source can remain unchanged for a whole day. Recording a value on a new date does not prove that Cardmarket published a new guide, and an unchanged price alone does not tell us whether the source was refreshed.
Percentage change is (ending Trend / starting Trend − 1) × 100, rounded to two decimal places. The CSV contains the dates and source Trend values used for this snapshot.
- The calculation excludes acquisition costs, selling fees, shipping, storage and taxes. Reference-price changes are not realised returns.
- These observations contain no verified sales counts. They cannot establish a cause for the movement, a change in demand or transaction volume, or how quickly either product would sell.
- Use the history to understand this recorded period and inspect the products. It is not a prediction of a future sale price.
